This is the lock on the gate at the side of our house. I love this gate, the colours, the lines. Recently the toddler figured out how to open the lock and now a new lock will have to be added to the gate, much higher.

This is why I want an house extension. You can’t see it but my laptop is behind the overlocker. And later on I pulled out the sewing machine. Suffice to say, we don’t often eat dinner at the dining table.

This is the view from my bed. It’s not much but I like waking up in the morning and looking out at the blue sky. I always leave the curtains open because I like to be woken up by the rising sun. I don’t like waking up in the dark.
