Ever have one of those days where you feel totally incapable as a mother?  I’ve been having one of those days.  It started when I lost track of the toddler in Target and found her with a box of Smarties she swiped from the counter.  I was quite mortified and quickly paid for them and left.  I completely messed up handling the situation properly because I was caught off guard and by the time I realised it the lesson was too far removed from the situation.  Sigh.
