Bad Mama moment #345: I traded jellybeans with the toddler so I could trim up her fringe. The toddler is joyous and trying all at the same time. She loves to run and chase. She likes to “see cook” when I’m in the kitchen. She likes to help change the baby’s nappy and bring her toys. And I’m pretty sure she called her Dad a silly bugger last night.
The baby is gorgeous, smiley and chatty. She loves to interact with people. She lights up when she sees her sister. She loves the Jolly Jumper and Giddy Up Horsey. She’s creeping backwards and gets very frustrated when she moves further away from the object of her attention.
In other news, I ended up losing the remote locker for my car (see post below). I still had my key and was going to just use that to manually lock/unlock the car (the horror!). That was until the security system went mad and would go off whenever I used my key, leaving me to drive all the way home with the hazard lights flashing. They would go off after a couple of minutes, then come back on any time I changed gears or used the turning indicators. I was so embarrassed, but thankfully the alarm had been disabled and I wasn’t beeping all the way home too. So I had to fork out the cash for a new remote locker and be extra, extra careful with my keys.
I’ve been sewing like a fiend for the alt.life crafty baby exchange, but I cannot share any photos until they have reached their recipients. I’ve been trying out new techniques and improving my finishing and feeling pretty darn satisfied with myself. I also got an early birthday present, but I’m going to save that for another post.
I’ve been told that comments aren’t working. I don’t know why it is so nor the know-how to figure it out. I’ll just pretend that everyone is trying to leave me lovely comments.
