I’ve got big plans for a homemade Christmas this year.  I’ve spent hours designing cards to print with the Gocco and pack into sets.  I’ve scoured the Internets for images to freezer paper stencil on tees for brothers and nephews.  I’ve acquired supplies to make some cute bags for mothers and sisters-in-law.  It’s such a shame that I’ll have to shop for some fabric.

But, the fathers.  Every year, every Christmas, every birthday.  I think and I think and I think some more.  I ask the husband for input.  (I’d have better luck asking the toddler.)  Then I buy a block of caramello chocolate and a bag of aniseed rings.  It’s always appreciated.  Why mess with something that works?
